This Coverage Plan is now available as the following Option and includes:

5 Years 60,000 Mile Warranty

The Safe + Sound Coverage Plan provides one additional year of New Car Limited Warranty coverage for a total of five years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

• The New Car Limited Warranty (4 years/50,000 miles) is valid world-wide
• The additional fifth year (60,000 miles limit) is valid in the U.S. only

5 Years Complimentary Factory Scheduled Maintenance

The Safe + Sound maintenance program covers four scheduled services at 37.500, 45.000, 52.500 and 60.000 miles, to be performed at an authorized Volvo retailer in the U.S. Please refer to your Warranty and Maintenance Records Information booklet for complete service maintenance information including service interval details. See your Volvo retailer for additional information.**

5 Years Wear and Tear Coverage (valid only in the U.S.)

Unlimited wear & tear coverage for five years or 60,000 miles on the following items:

• Brake pads (front/rear)
• Brake rotors (front/rear – only in conjunction with a covered brake pad replacement)
• Wiper inserts

Items not covered: see "Wear and Tear Items" and "What is Not Warranted" chapters in your Volvo Warranty and Maintenance Records Information booklet / Service and Warranty Booklet, with the exception of items specified above.

5 Years Volvo On Call Roadside Assistance

Your initial On Call (U.S. Roadside Assisance) membership begins when you receive your new Volvo and lasts for five years.***

* The Volvo Military Sales Safe + Sound Coverage Plan is valid only when repairs are performed at an authorized Volvo Retailer / Workshop subject to all applicable exclusions or limitations. It applies to eligible 2010 Model Year U.S. specification Volvo vehicles purchased from an authorized VCIC (Volvo Cars International Customer Sales) agent between October 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010.

** All MY10 U.S. specification (MC31) cars sold by Volvo Car International Customer Sales / Volvo Military Sales are covered by the Complimentary Factory Scheduled Maintenance Program which includes 7,500, 15,000, 22,500 and 30,000 mile scheduled services performed within three years from in service date at no charge.
